Short version: Workout Tracker does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Workout Tracker is a personal fitness app for Android. This privacy policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and confirms that no information is ever sent off your device.
We do not collect, store remotely, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no backend server, no analytics, no advertising SDK, and no account system.
The following data is stored locally in your device's app storage (via browser localStorage within the app's WebView). It never leaves your device:
This data is only accessible within the app. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data in your Android settings.
Workout Tracker optionally integrates with Android Health Connect to read your step count and log exercise sessions. This integration is permission-based and entirely optional:
The app uses Android's AlarmManager to schedule local notifications (workout reminders and walking nudges). These are generated entirely on your device — no push notification service or external server is involved.
Battery optimisation is not requested programmatically. The app instead guides users to disable it manually via Settings → Apps → Workout → Battery → Unrestricted, so that alarms are delivered reliably. This is an optional step and entirely under user control.
No permission is used to collect or transmit personal data.
Workout Tracker does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking services. No third-party SDKs are included.
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
